Yoga Classes

I have practiced Yoga for more than 16 years and studied classical Hatha Yoga under Surinder Singh.

My teacher emphasized the combining of Yoga and Ayurveda (the traditional Hindu system of medicine, which is based on the idea of balance in bodily systems and uses diet, herbal treatment, and yogic breathing.) He stressed the importance of adjusting asana (traditional yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation to the different body types and their varying needs.

This knowledge is at the core of my own practice and teachings to avoid generic and generalized approaches to yoga. Instead, I focus on my students and clients individual strengths, physical and mental abilities and their current state of body and mind to create sessions that benefit them the most.

Information about session times for in-person or online group sessions can be found on our Events page and on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

In addition, I also offer courses and classes on my YouTube channel. Those classes are designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
